If you’re like me then you probably don’t like committing your models to one build if it has multiple options. I’m a huge fan of magnetization, and usually try and keep my options open when I build. Sometimes there are kits that are next to impossible to magnetize, but every once in a while one comes along that is actually incredibly easy. The Age of Sigmar zombie dragon and terrorgheist kit is one of these. All I did was build the model as a zombie dragon, but didn’t glue the neck to the torso. There are two pieces that are meant to span the neck and torso, with ribs and sinew on them. I carved the locking tab off of these pieces on the torso end to allow the pieces to come apart easily. I attached the extra rib panels to the head end, and now they hold the two parts together. Then I built the terrorgheist head with the same approach. Even without magnets, the tension of the plastic is more than enough to hold the heads on, allowing you to switch between a zombie dragon and a terrorgheist. I only wish I’d tried this earlier on my other one who has been fully glued as a terrorgheist.

The Zombie dragon/ Terrorgheist is one of my favourite kits so far for the death grand alliance. I like how you’ve used magnets for yours, the pose on the Terrorgheist looks really dramatic (I wish I’ve used magnets for my Zombie Dragon/ Terrorgheist 😦 ).
Can’t wait to see what the model will look like once it’s painted. Keep up the good work! 🙂

Thanks! I didn’t actually use magnets on the heads, it just uses the tension of the plastic to hold it together. This only really works if you build the body of the Zombie Dragon, the Terrorgheist is too close to the base for the other head.

Looks like an easy swap out – good point on using the zombie dragon pose or the heads wouldn’t work. Could see that being somewhat frustrating if someone found that out too late!

Zombie dragon actually ends up being about the same height as the terrorgheist as the wings are angled back more. I still trimmed the spines down by a half inch on both of them so it’d fit in my case though.

Hey, did you consider doing terrorgheist/zombie dragon? I mean you said there is no space for the head of the zombie dragon if you use the body of terrorgheist but If you put it upon elevated surface (like some rocks to look down on other miniaturę) it could be interesting, what do you think?
